Roll on/roll off transportation is one of the most commonly used methods for truck sea freight. This transportation method uses roll on/roll off ships, and vehicles can directly enter and exit the cabin through the ramp. Roll on/roll off ships are equipped with dedicated vehicle decks and ramp channels, eliminating the need for complex lifting equipment and greatly improving loading and unloading efficiency. During transportation, the truck driver can directly drive the vehicle to the designated position on the roll on/roll off ship and use fastening devices such as straps and wire ropes to fix the vehicle on the deck to prevent it from moving during transportation. After arriving at the destination port, drive the vehicle directly off the ship. Roll on/roll off transportation is suitable for large-scale truck transportation, especially for new car exports and used car imports, and can quickly achieve cross-border transfer of vehicles.
